| I can understand that, I'm proud of my land too. My ancestors are in Lorraine since the 17th century (perhaps earlier) and I love my region. And, even if the Vosges mountains are probably more little than your mountains, we are proud to be "vosgiens". I'm not living anymore in the Vosges, but the Moselle is in the same region  About winter, I found some photos of winter 2010 in Metz. Surely you'll find the conditions easy, but all the city was paralyzed !
