CITAZIONE (AramisCB @ 1/3/2012, 18:39) I have a big problem with my Foxmail (it's like Outlook express, to send and receive e-mails) : I can't send any more of e-mails (but I received all) with it. I have this message : CITAZIONE [stmp.mail.yahoo.ca]Used to indicate that an operation can't continue without blocking of the E/S I asked for the help almost everywhere, no answer... I supposed that E/S (possibly the French term) is for indicated "enter/exit", but of what ? The smtp is configured well, I checked. The problem arose suddenly without change for my Foxmail. I verified at Yahoo, and there does not seem to have be of change either. I thus think that it comes from my computer, probably of Windows. But what ? Has anybody already had similar problem ? Does anybody know exactly what means this message ? And what it's exactly E/S ? Hi, I did not find any clues about this infamous E/S, it could be a sloppy translation error for I/O. I suggest you to move on a mail user agent a bit more "tested", like Thunderbird. BUT Why don't you use your ISP smtp server instead of the Yahoo one? BTW, if you decided to use the smtp yahoo server, note that your ISP could have blocked your port 25. Have you already tryed to change for the smtp port 587? (if you use SSL, yahoo requires the port 465 for the SSL smtp connection)
