Swing Action Mazinger Z Late Model        CITAZIONE Its first Swing Action Mazinger Z sold out quickly, but manufacturer West Kenji didn't rest on that great success...instead, they got busy designing an even better one! The result is this second entry in their Swing Action line of articulated, prepainted soft vinyl figures: Mazinger Z, this time sporting modifications from late in the story!
Standing 20cm (about 8 inches) tall, he's impressively posable thanks to 20 points of articulation, with subtly different detailing from the first release and improvements that include double-ball-jointed ankles. Ready for airborne action with the Jet Scrander, Mazinger Z also comes with his new Rocket Punch, a regular lower arm to replace the new Rocket Punch if you like, a pair of open hands, and a removable Pilder that can be undocked and converted to Jet Pilder form. There's also a display base, and even a 1/20-scale figure of pilot Koji Kabuto with helmet in hand! All this comes packaged in a slip-cover box; lift off the slip cover to see a color illustration of Mazinger Z and Koji done by Kazuhiro Ochi (who's been keeping Koji and other Go Nagai creations plenty busy in his acclaimed "Dynamic Heroes" manga).
