.....gettare un unica STORYLINE per i manga , abbiamo imparato che , e' una
cosa veramente ARDUA.
Nella nostra sezione recensioni abbiamo visto che di questo eroe oltre ad esistere l'anime che tutti conosciamo esistono anche diverse versioni del MANGA : imamichi , koazaki , gosaku ota e.....
GO NAGAI !
Tralasciando discorsi sull intero manga , vorrei focalizzare la vostra attenzione su personaggi che sembra si vedano solo in questa versione.
stiamo parlando dei fratelli e sorelle di Actarus e un amico di Fleed.
....la storyline del manga e' pressocche' identica a quella dell anime.
abbiamo una Fleed distrutta e devastata dalle forze di Vega dove il nostro paladino sembra l'unico sopravvissuto...
....come nell anime , Actarus arriva sulla terra e....la storia prosegue "normalmente".
Il manga si presenta molto piu' crudo e molto piu' frenetico rispetto a quello che conosciamo e Gandal E Hydargos (Balcky) sembrano molto piu' arcigni di quanto sembrino in tv....difattiuna delle prime "armi"che usano per stanare l'eroe e'
BrunHild , un amico (il miglioreamico) del
Fleediano , il quale sotto controllo mentale dei veghiani agisce .......
peccato che questo personaggio non venisse piu' sfruttato nell immaginario GOLDREKKIANO , in quanto , a mio avviso, potrebbero nascere belle situazioni.
Meno intenso e meno sfruttato di Naida (ma anche rubina) , ricoprendo un ruolo di "amico maschile" avrebbe , secondo me , potuto far nascere qualcosa di diverso
dalla solita storia di amore/amicizia tipicamente donna/uomo
Nagai da un ottima svolta alla storia del cartone , riuscendo a conclamare ancora una volta il suo imprint CATTIVO e PERNICIOSO
che non risparmia nessuno, ma il peggio deve ancora venire
ricordate questo personaggio ?

MAZINGA CONTRO GOLDRAKE 
......costui si chiama
BARENDOS e sebbene nella versione televisiva sembri uno dei tanti nemici di Goldrake* , nel manga non e' cosi'.......
*per carita...sara' proprio grazie all arrivo di costui che scopriremo in realta' dove si trovano i mitici GRANDE MAZINGA e MAZINGA Z durante la visita di Goldrake sulla terra , e cioe' UN MUSEO !...ma chi e' BARENDOS?
appena arrivato su SKULLMOON BASE gettera' nel panico i cuori di Hydargos e Gandal .....e ci vorra' qualche pagina prima di capire PERCHE'.....
...durante i racconti di alcuni ricordi legati a questo personaggio , Actarus narrera' che costui , arrivato su Fleed si era macchiato delle nefandezze piu' orrende e morbose....fra cui
L'ASSASSINIO DEI FRATELLI E DELLE SORELLE DI ACTARUS!
inizialmente pensavo che fosse "un modo di dire" con il quale actarus si stava relazionando agli altri abitanti di vega , ma poi leggendo bene la traduzione in italiano e' chiaro che Actarus stesse parlando della morte dei
suoi consanguinei!...i quali ,purtroppo saranno vittime di un destino veramente INFAUSTO e PIU' CHE CRUDELE!!!
...come ben sappiamo , nella storia ANIME invece non vi e' alcun tipo di accenno a questi familiari , e indubbiamente vista la dipartita non avrebbero comunque potuto aggiungere moltissimo al casato ......pero'
se tale elemento fosse stato rispettato anche nell anime avrebbe comunque fatto sentire la pesantezza del crudelissimo impero VEGHIANO.

The manga of Grendizer was published serially in TV magazine.
( TV magazine is the book which gives informations of Heroes for children )
Fom the biginning to the 8th Go Nagai drew by himself.
But he stopped Grendizer because he started new manga “Garura”in the same book.
( As you know “Garura” is his first manga he drew the monster like Godzilla.)
Yu Okazaki (the cartoonist belonged to Dynamic prodction)relieved Go and
drew to the last.
His part is not gatherd in the comics.
Go Nagai's part was his original story.
He designed the characters and robots, monsters of Grendizer but the original plan, story of the anime was created by a lot of people
who belongs to Toei ,Dynamic production, and the staff of the animation,and so on.
It is possible to guess that Brunhild is the original of Mooru.
But it's only assumtion.
I think they arenot same character but there is possibility The script writer
was inspired.
As I told before Grendizer was made by many people.
The manga of your questions 2. is drawn by Ken Ishikawa to the movie “Grendizer vs Great Mazinger”
He designed many monsters for Grendizer.
And for this movie, he created the chief of Vega (I don't know what he is called in Italy...he stole Great Mazinger in it),monster.
The story of the movie was written by the scriptwriter.
This manga is Ken's original, unique story.
So there is no relevancy with the anime.
Go Ngai doesn't care too much and say annoyingly about the way to express his assistants drew by using his characters.
It seems he usually left a work to them and enjoyed new expression.
You can see it in Ota's manga.
I've red the assistant said so in the booklet of Chibi chara, too.

I checked the manga Go Nagai's version.
( It looks almost drawn by Ken Ishikawa)
Duke says Barendos killed his younger brother and sister.
It wasn't used plulal but Japanese doesn't care plural so much
so I can't deside.
There is no discription.
Anyhow it can say that Duke had one younger sister and one younger brother at least in that manga.
Maybe Ken ..himself didn't think of numbers clearly.
As offical settings Duke had only younger sister, Maria.
This manga seems almost Ken's Grendizer(his creation,like parallel )same as Ota's one.
In Japan Go Nagai, Ken Ishikawa, Gosaku Ota, Eiji Imamichi,
Yu Okazaki, Shigeru Akimoto drew the manga of Grendizer.
...Oh! GARURA !! It's been for a long time since I red it last.

This is the TV program which based on GoNagai's manga.
Harenchi Gakuen made sensation in all over Japan.
It was social phenomenon and problem.
Young generation was keen on it and media, PTA,teachers were keen on
bashing.
I remember I red it secretly kept out of sight of my parents.
Thogh teachers, PTA, media of insihgt(call themselves) blamed this manga and GO, Harenchi Gakuen became very very popular.
So it made as TV movie and made big success.
Joe's understanding is right!
And Akimoto's manga is drawn for kindergartner.
At that time I already graduated from kinderschool but I couldn't graduate
from Grendizer,so I bought all magazines which I can find Grendizer manga in them.....

The episodes of Brunhild were appeared in the TV Magazine published in January and February, 1976. About one year after, the Mooru(in italiy, Morse モルス in Japan) 's episode was televised on Feb. 6, 1977.
Mooru and Brunhild had common things: they were Duke's good friend, were brainwashed by Vega, and fought Grendizer against to their wishes.
However, there are significant differences between Mooru and Brunhild. The Mooru's robot is differ from the Brunhild's one. Mooru is the Prince of Mooru planet, but, there is no description that Brunhild is a prince of another planet.
In the script of Mooru's episode, by Tatuo Tamura, No. 71 in Japan, Mooru became a enemy of Duke of his own will to save his planet from Vega's Attack.
The Brunhild's episode might inspire the scriptwriter, Tatuo Tamura, to make Mooru's character and episode, but Brunhild and Mooru may not be the same character.

Duke may have one younger sister and two or more younger brothers in GoNagai's comics.
Needless to say, this situation is completely different from TV version.
The 8th episode, the last, drawn by Go Nagai was published in May, 1976.
Maria appeared on Sept. 5, 1976 in Japan. GoNagai's part may be finished before decision to make new character Maria, so Maria did not appear in GoNagai's comics.
